I accompanied my father who has kidney problem and we were accommodated too well. From staffs to dieticians, all serve us with a welcoming smile. It is good that we did follow what the doctor advises us since my dad was diagnosed with kidney problem. My father was given a diet plan from breakfast to dinner including his snacks. Sticking With My Weight Loss Plans


I am one of those who feel desperate when I found my favourite shirts getting small for me. As I saw my arms getting bigger and bigger, depression do hits me like a thunder. I always end up upset with how I see my reflection in the mirror. I even hate to take photos of myself. I refused to buy new set of clothes denying and trying not to believe that I have to change the sizes I used to buy, from medium to large or unluckily switch to extra-large clothing. 

My confidence even strikes down, and that is the worst of it all. As I gain extra pounds, I can feel the discomfort of hard time breathing. I do try to limit my intakes but that only happens when I’m not so into the foods served. If those were my favourites, diet always starts tomorrow. That is the problem I am facing right now. 

I can’t stick to my diet plans. Maybe it is right to seek a professional weight loss Calgary to make this journey a success. A lot of motivational books and write ups are available, but still it is your motivation to get fit that will drive you to achieve your ideal weight. Nothing is impossible, and I’m telling that to myself right now. I’m not disposing my small clothes and I’m telling them, “wait until I wear you again.” Good luck to me. Hope this time I will make it.

HCG Diet Program in Calgary

I got a friend who used the HCG diet program and it did works on her. Surprisingly she looks amazingly different from the last time I saw her. She is recommending me to do the same thing. As of now I’m still on the stage of weighing its pros and cons. Her new look is really motivating me to do the same thing. I’m currently having a hard time in choosing the dresses to wear because of my figure. I’m not too fat but the bulges in my waistline prevent me from wearing a little more attractive dress. 

It somehow lessens the level of confidence that I have. How I wish I could proudly wear those sexy two-piece suit during summer outings. I did try to lessen my food intakes, but food craving is making it hard for me to stick on my diet plan. Most often, I end up losing my patience instead of losing these excess fats. I know exercise is a must, but getting up early on my bed for a workout is pretty hard to do. Maybe it will pay a lot more difference to have an effective diet program. 

Giving HCG diet a consideration is really crossing my mind. I can now imagine how my peers will have the surprised look seeing the new me, and that will call for a need to shop for smaller dresses and outfits. But for now, I am looking for a reputable weight loss clinic in Calgary to cater my need. If this is safe, there’s no harm of trying.

You Can’t Achieve Weight Loss in Calgary without Discipline


All around, fad diets are everywhere.  A lot of them promise the moon and the stars – eat your favorite foods and still lose weight fast.  Take this pill and that shot and you can lose up to 100 pounds in one month.  You know how it goes.  Then there are all those expensive exercise contraptions you see on the TV shopping channel, promising the same miraculous weight loss.  Newsflash, bub – THEY JUST DON’T WORK.  That’s not how weight loss in Calgary is supposed to be.

Why is that?  Because once you buy a certain product or go on a certain diet or take a certain supplement or drug, it’s not those things that are losing the weight for you.  And you don’t achieve Calgary weight loss either by exercising in the morning and pigging out in the afternoon or evening.  You achieve weight loss in Calgary with discipline, and lots of it.  That’s what it takes to commit to your healthy diet and exercise routine.  Take note I said “and”, because when it comes to diet and exercise, you can’t have one without the other and expect to lose weight.

This all may sound preachy to you, but that’s the reality of losing weight.  It is never easy.  It is a long, arduous route to dropping some pounds and making sure those pounds go right back where they came from.  You can go on all the diets, buy all the equipment and perform all the exercises you want, but without discipline, all your efforts will effectively go to waste.

As someone who had once worked in the Calgary weight loss industry and battled his own weight problems, I’ve had my share of bland, boring diets and encountered people who feel the same about the diets I recommend.  Everyone seems to be out for a quick fix – they want a diet that could help them stay slim while allowing them to eat most, if not all the unhealthy foods they enjoy munching on.  I’ve got four words for them – those diets don’t work.  But I assure you, it is possible to eat right, lose weight, and enjoy the food you eat.

Almost every expert on weight loss in Calgary agrees that fruits and vegetables are a must on every weight loss diet.  I agree wholeheartedly, but to make things easier on your palate, I would recommend apples, tomatoes, cherries and avocados.  Celery would also make a good vegetable to add to the list.  The elements and nutrients found in these fruits and vegetables not only help one lose weight – they also help prevent cancer, hypertension and heart problems.

I don’t believe in going meatless.  Still, there are certain things you want to avoid in a weight loss diet, such as chicken skin and most types of red meat.  That said, fish and chicken (without the skin) are low in fat yet don’t leave you wanting for taste if cooked the right way.  

As you can see, it can be just that simple if you want to weigh a few pounds lighter without putting your taste buds to sleep.
